Third Post Assignment

I have been reading about a couple who owns two Vizslas. It's so fun to see how similar their Vizslas are to mine. I just love seeing all the fun pictures. Here's their blog and my post. https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=386223329478358239&postID=1400286947895741989

Second Post Assignment

One of my Barkley friends (Garrett Sorrels) has two great dogs Ralphie and Buster. Miles would love to meet them some day. He also has a cool music blog that you should visit. http://garebearsounds.blogspot.com/

Miles....

We got Miles as a puppy at just 8 weeks old. He was quite adorable as you will see in the pictures. He was born on St. Patrick's day so he's just coming up onto his second birthday. He now weighs in at about 50lbs and is quite energetic. He fits the the Vizsla description exactly. A velcro dog for sure. He follows us around the house contantly, sleeps on the couch and in the bed (bad) and is very energetic and full life.

The Hungarian Vizsla

Temperament:
Vizslas are lively, gentle-mannered, loyal, caring and highly affectionate. They quickly form close bonds with their owners, including children. Often they are referred to as "velcro" dogs because of their loyalty and affection. They are quiet dogs, only barking if necessary or provoked. They are natural hunters with an excellent ability to take training. Not only are they great pointers, but they are excellent retrievers as well.
Appearance:
The Vizsla is a medium-sized hunting dog of distinguished appearance and bearing. Robust but rather lightly built, they are lean dogs, have defined muscles, and are similar to a Weimaraner but smaller in size. The breed standard calls for the tail to be docked to two-thirds of its original length in smooth Vizslas and to three-fourths in Wirehaired Vizslas.

First Post Assignment

Just trying to learn the ins and outs of blogging. I read blogs, but have never started one of my own. Could be interesting....
